Vanilla is a fun flavor, and I hate that some people think that it’s “just vanilla”. Vanilla is just as complex as coffee, the flavor profile changes depending on where it’s grown.

Also, my vanilla ice creams have a VERY STRONG vanilla flavor. Commercial recommendation dosage of vanilla is 1 tsp per quart of ice cream.  Instead, for each of my 3 quart batches, I use 2 OUNCES of vanilla extract, and TWO whole vanilla beans! That’s 4-6x more vanilla that you get with the “just vanilla” flavors in the store!  You gotta try this!

Ingredients: Ice Cream Base (Cream, Milk, Skim Milk, Sugar, Corn Syrup Solids, Nonfat Dry Milk, 2% or less of Mono & Diglycerides, Cellulose Gum, Guar Gum, Carrageenan), Vanilla Extract, Vanilla Beans.
