Description
There’s something about cotton candy that instantly brings out your inner kid. The pastel swirl, the sticky fingers, the sweet melt-in-your-mouth magic—it’s a flavor that screams FUN. And it turns out, cotton candy has been doing that for over 125 years.
The original version of cotton candy was invented by, of all people, a dentist! Back in 1897, Dr. William Morrison and candy maker John C. Wharton created a machine that melted sugar and spun it into thin threads—what we now know as cotton candy. It was introduced to the world at the 1904 World’s Fair as “Fairy Floss,” where it sold over 68,000 boxes. Eventually, the name changed to cotton candy in the U.S., but that fluffy sweetness never went out of style.
My Cotton Candy Ice Cream is a throwback to those fairground memories—bright pink and blue swirled into a dreamy, creamy scoop. It tastes just like the classic treat, but without the sticky hands or windy-day disasters. It’s whimsical, colorful, and guaranteed to make you smile (and maybe bounce off the walls a little, but hey—that’s part of the fun).
